Xterra Wetsuits
Online Video Marketing Campaign
Xterra Wetsuits sought to communicate how their unique, direct-to-consumer sales model translates to savings for the customer the without any sacrifice in product quality. Initially, they wanted just one video. However, I proposed that, since we would be working with the company CEO on-camera and we would be developing graphic assets, we leverage this in to three videos that could serve various purposes and engage audiences in different ways. I directed this project from script to storyboard to final edit.
Storyboard
Developed storyboard based on my script to present pre-visualization of the live subject's interaction with motion graphics used demonstrate the company's business model. CLICK TO SEE FULL STORYBOARD
V1 - Live Action with GFX
This video combines the live action of the presenter (a company principal) with motion graphics.
V2 - Interview Setting
Nobody tells a company's story or conveys its passion more powerfully than the people who built it. This longer form piece more intimately presents Xterra's CEO so an audience can identify with him and make an emotional investment in the product.
V3 - GFX Only
This version was developed as a means to visually communicate a great deal of information about the products and company. A great deal of time and cost was saved by driving the graphics with soundbites from other two versions rather than scripting and recording original dialogue.
